The Challenge
To design and build a completely new corporate website for a major bedding manufacturer. This was as much about technology as bringing a newly merged company together, using communication and sharing tools.
The Process
- Content Strategy
- Information Architecture
- Personas
- Prototyping
- Stakeholder Meetings
- Research
- User Journeys
- Wireframes
- Workshop
I began discovery by conducting stakeholder interviews and user surveys, so that I could begin to understand the primary business goals for the corporate site.
For the corporate site I had to form a content plan, based on who our main audience groups for the site were.
Now that I had a plan for content and serving user needs, I could begin to wireframe and prototype in Axure. This involved multiple rounds of iteration, stakeholder meetings and workshops. Throughout the process I had regular meetings with our strategists and the main stakeholders to ensure that the content and design were on-brand, and that the prototype user journeys reflected what we had learned in discovery about our user groups.
The outcome
We produced a beautiful corporate site with clear and intuitive navigation, with bespoke photography and visuals to convey a fresh and innovative company.
