Pity da fools Just to let you all know I haven’t gone up in flames here, although New Years day was insanely hot, I pity the fools that got wasted and slept on the beach and probably woke up with a head resembling a large watermelon! I spent the Eve on a rooftop party somewhere…

Buona Natale, God Jul…Merry Xmas everyone! Handels Messiah, that is. Went to hear and see it at the Sydney Opera House tonight, was pretty spectacular inside, with the weird Scandinavian designs*. Can’t say that sort of religious orthodox music is my favourite, but it was good to do something cultural. And the views out into the harbour at interval time are…

Another weird thing about Australia…it’s Burger King but not as you know it. And for some reason aussies like to put a slice of beetroot into their burgers. Yuck.
